This is the third part of a three part tutorial. This part takes the walking forward cycle from #101-102 and attaching it o a peg and making the walk continue to walk forward using the same cycle.

  • @XxShadowThievesxX ToonBoom wont allow you to do it. I came from Flash to. Toon Boom symbols are only used to switch between drawings. You draw your substitutions in the symbol and you can switch them out in the animation, like different hand shapes, or shoes, ect. As far as animating, you'd have to animate outside the symbol for it to show in the project...Upcoming tutorials on my page btw :)

  • hi i have a question, i come from flash now im using toonboom but i try to nest animated symbols inside a symbol but the animation doesnt show on screen,it is only shown inside the symbol but not when i get out of the symbol.

    do you know how can i fix that so i can nest animated symbols inside a symbol?
