Nothing incredible here, just me saying I love my new Trick pedals.

That little sound thingy I did is quite obviously inspired by a Suicide Silence song, and it's my favorite quick blaster to use whenever I'm feeling out pedals/cymbals/sticks.

  • Quick question, not sure if you still use the dominators or not, but what are they like for the Swivel-foot technique? Unless you don't do swivel, then this would just be redundant.

  • @RVBDeathbot I'll be putting up a followup now that I've had them for a while, and from what little I've messed with swivel they seem to do well with it. I do more of a Shannon Lucas style heel bounce over 200bpm but there should be NO issue with swiveling on these.

  • @zgates sick. Because I'm tossing up whether to buy these or a set of Axis pedals when I have the money, and these seem to be the better option on my wallet, plus, they look sick.

  • @RVBDeathbot The spring knob adjustment all by itself makes these worth it. If these and the Axis felt the exact same (which they don't), I'd go for the Doms solely thanks to how easy they are to tweak and adjust. I'll try to get a quick vid up tomorrow, though it'll be on my "practice kit" rather than the full beast.

  • Just one question, i recently got my axis pedals and they dont really fit me.

Do you think the Trick Dominator would fit me? I'd say they look REALLY comfortable and a really simple, but still more advanced pedal.

  • @sebbimon I'd say so. It depends on what your problem was with the Axis, since I don't think they're worlds apart.

  • HOW MUCH, please answer!

  • I see the bass drum mallet? i think its called.. Is made of steel.. Doesnt it damage the bass drum head?

  • poor cobras haha :D

  • now you have had these pedals for a while and I have to ask (becaus some guy said this but I want a second opinion) he said that the direct drive was cheap and unstirdy. That fellt wrong without the baseplate and the pedal was over priced!

do you think so? becaus I really cant decide between these and the axis (I like this a bit more but are afraid of that it's so new and haven't got so manny reviews!

  • Good choice, pal. I got this pedal as soon as it was available online. Loooooove it.
