Chad... he should have swallowed his pride and done the right thing. One of 30 didn't show up... it's a classless move. Regardless of whether you agree with Obama, or you identity with the left or right, you have to respect the honor and show up.

@Chitown2701 Why do I care? If America falls so does the rest of the free world. We can take in many U.S. families for safety like we did on 9/11 but ultimately it comes down to whether Obama gets re-elected or not. If he does, the Constitution ( a noble document) has been ruled invalid.

The 2nd American Revolution will break out, martial law called. As it stands today a U.S. citizen can be kidnapped, held without a lawyer & even killed. Obama signed on to it.

@IntheOT 1.) The tradition isn't meeting Barack Obama. The tradition is visiting the White House, seeing the President of the United States.

2.) It's not an intermingling of politics and hockey, but the country congratulating sports teams. It is not gimmying for a vote

3.) I agree with Tim's view on the country, but i disagree that he is above traditional courtesy to the american government

@Chitown2701 Government didn't have to pay for anything. on the campaign trail, Obama promised he bring the troops him within a short period. then after time he recanted and stated he'd bring them home after a different period of time. it wasn't Bush who gave the Federal Reserve more authoritative power.. it was Obama. i'm not defending Bush because he's a war criminal but Obama has been in office for almost 4 years and the state of the country hasn't improved..just the opposite.

@Cfish79 Because he's spent more on domestic programs than Bush did, and part of his debt was a carryover from the Bush administration. Even though Bush has been out of office for 3 years, the government still had to pay for the war in Iraq, which Bush started.
