The real problem here is Traffic Congestion! Don't you people ever remember during the Vietnam War the traffic the NAS produced and try to get out of Alameda between 3:30-5:30pm. Until we get another way out of Alameda like a new six lane tube at the end of Main street connecting to HWY980 as was proposed during the Southern Crossing, I will not vote for anything......Just rent the place out for 5 years then open up bids.

Totally untrue about the section 8 projects and 8 story high affordable housing.
If you are against the project at least have your objections have some measure of truth within it.

they want to build 8 story high affordable housing and section 8 projects in alameda, and the company that proposed it has gone bankrupt on 27 of 53 projects. Uberliberals just love demonizing the realistic perspective that this will make alameda a lot more like oakland, in crime and politics, and the economies still getting worse. Vote no.
