I really like this spider.
The fact that it can flip over and walk the same way in either position is way cool.
I think it would be great to build one with 6 or 8 legs.
I think the feet should be made of something with
a bit more grip for other surfaces.
A set of jaws or mandibles for gripping things and carrying them around would be a cool addition.
I have always wondered how FAST one of these could walk or "run" ??
Could it be possible for a computer controller to get it to like "gallop" ??

Hello, I am the creator of this robot. It is a one of a kind machine, not for sale at the moment. It's been rebuilt completely since this video was taken, and I showed off the latest version at GenCon 2011.

Do you have any info on the guy who made this. I have seen a lot of robot spiders, but this is one of the best ones i have ever seen.

none, this guy was just hanging out at Gencon 2007 playing with his robot.
