New director...new employees...none of these changes have done a thing to solve the problem with Memphis animal shelters. A Memphis leader as recently as November 2011, ordered 270 pit bulls and dogs resembling pit bulls to be euthanized on the basis of breed alone. No temperment tests or attempts to reach out to rescue organizations. I swear I fucking hate Memphis and I live only 20 miles outside the city.

this is fucking bs..this is the reason I am going back to school and getting a degree to rescue animals not put them to fight and kill innocent one's...i trusted the shelters, but now i don't trust them for shitttt...!!! fuck you memphis..those fucking people took the lives of innocent one's i would kill thier family and them for bringign them into this world...fucking assholes...i will hurt anyone who dares to fuck with me today after seeing this video

thats so sad. i was at a shelter by my house and they had a beautiful brindled boxer, 1.5 years old, female, beautiful personality, just sat and licked your face and hands. i was goign to adopt her. i go back and they told me they put her to sleep....she was "taking up space" they had empty cages...some shelters dont really care at all
