NABC 2011 Baltimore - Day 3 Highlights

Baltimore bids adeau to 31st NABC as the Banga Sammelan bandwagon moves to Las Vegas next year. The final day's highlights include an energetic performance by Bangla Band Bhoomi and the dance crowd seemed to pick up from where they had left off last night with Sanu and Alka. Kaushiki Desikan delighted the audience for the second dy in a row - this time with her light classical songs. Lopamudra was the perfect bridge in between the two genres as she effortlessly migrated between moderin songs, Tagore songs and songs the crowd swayed to. Kajari Chakraborty was crowned the new NABC Idol 2011 winner. Governor of Maryland made a visit in the afternoon and spoke to BanglaPodcast. Kalyan Sen Barat's Closing ceremony was preceded by BanglaPodcast's presentation of moments from this years event. This was the first time highlights were shown in almost real time as the BanglaPodcast team worked tirelessly covering performances, audience, celebrities from parallel events and across multiple rooms.
