My new ASUS P5Q-E, with cool music "Baba Yetu". Had did O'Cing on my e6420 @ 3.76GHz, but only for about 45mins. I dun wanna damage my new Precious.
Had fitted her with Duo E8400, EVGA GTX275 and Ikonic 1000w PSU. Somewhere in Winter 2009, will fit her in with Intel Quad Q9550 or Q9650, (IF the price of the Quad would fall beyond my budget of around SGD$400), and keep you guys posted.

  • music sounds like it should be in avatar :/

  • @billonicle From a game - Sid Meier's Civilization. Opening theme by Christopher Tin - Baba Yetu. A very popular song worldwide.

  • what type of hard drive does this take HDD SATA 1 or HDD SATA 2

  • @AstonishCinema This board will accept all kinds of drive from SATA Gen1, 2 to 3. Make sur e you have flashed to the latest BIOS for RAM compatibility which will then 'recognize' most of the DDR2 and speeds up to 1066MHz and above.

For SATA3 (6GB/s), the S/B controller will step down to SATA2 (3GB/s). Only the latest P55 chipset will utilize SATA3 fully and also not forgetting USB 3.0.

    Hope this helps.

  • this'll probably be the shortest comment on your video. But I just wanna say I love this song XD..

I recognised it from Civilisation, I hate the game but that song is cool

  • @Xerangelo Well, Thank you very much. Really appreciated it.

  • @awnful Congrats to you for going 4.2GHz. BTW, I still can't hit 4GHz mark yet. It crashed at 3700+MHz. It could be my RAM that is pulling down the system down. "OCZ Platinum PC2 1066MHz". Anyway, will try again the nite after tomorrow.

  • got that board too

its easy for overlocking and for using 2 gpus.

    i overlocked my e 8400 ( its 775) to 2 x 4,2 ghz and did almost nothing.

    the dual lan rockz lol

  • @elisirfromslovenia Ok, all the best to ya and remember to take all the necessary steps. Good luck.

  • @geraldlkc sure will backup everything and update some day when i'll have more time to get into this. Thanks for all the help!
