The OM-03 was a great buy. I like having the pickup. I use it for recording, but I also have an amp that I do accoustic stuff with, and it sounds great. I would highly recomend it.
In this vid I'd only had the dreads for about six months. They were pretty tough to maintain for the first 6-8 months, but since then they've gotten a lot easier. My hair wasn't that long when I first dreaded it, and I understand the dreads set faster if you make them bigger and your hair is longer.
hey man, nice video btw, i just wanted to ask was the larrivee OM-03 a good buy, and is it worth it getting the acoustic electric or should i just get the strait acoustic.? cheers man btw how long have you had the dreads and are they hard to maintain?
Thanks for the comment. I bought this grand after playing a friend of mine's. Hers was really nice, but this one isn't as great. I think the previous owner didn't take great care of it. In order to really get it going, I probably should have the neck reset. However, it still sounds pretty nice, and i use it to take with me when I go on trips.
Hey! Finally found a video with the coastline grand. I have been looking for a parlor type guitar, Ive played and liked the seagulls Ive been around. How do you like it? That may be my next one, I play a lot of fingerstyle/folkish stuff.
You should do a good video of just that one! if your still lookin for stuff to make videos about.
