Pot Time

While other countries introduce new techniques into their drug policies the government of Canada seems to be taking on a hard nosed attitude. Decriminalization of marijuana was around the corner in 2004. Fast forward 2009 -- the Conservative government has introduced a new crime bill that will criminalize cannabis possession, for instance 9 months for growing one plant for personal use.

The same detention centers that are going to be filled due to bill c-15. Why are we sending our youth to gang recruitment centers for a drug safer then caffeine? Why are we subsidizing gangs and cartels that are killing innocent people for a drug safer and less addictive then caffeine? No, the law is ignorant, and the drug lords continue to reap massive profits. Cartel Boss' have said "without prohibition i would not be able to have created my empire". Please educate yourself, everyone educate yourself. We are only hurting ourselves and empowering organized crime. For everyone's sake and safety, educate yourself. The only one loosing is the public, and their loosing their safety. ie. 2 infamous BC drug gangs, are funded due to prohibition, and formed in juvenile detention.
