Dr. Paul Peterson gave a speech on the Constitution for Coastal Carolina University September 17, 2010.
Paul C. Peterson is a Professor in the Department of Politics at Coastal Carolina University, where he has been teaching courses in American Government and Political Philosophy since 1982. Peterson received his B.A. in Political Science (with minors in Economics and Philosophy) from Brigham Young University in 1968, his M.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside in 1969, and his Ph.D. in Government from Claremont Graduate School in 1980. Before coming to Coastal Carolina, Peterson also taught at Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis), Illinois State University, and Northern Illinois University. He was also a visiting professor and Deputy Director of the John M. Ashbrook Center for the Study of Public Affairs at Ashland University during the 1986-87 academic year and a visiting professor at Brigham Young University in the summer of 1998.
