The 'curse of globalisation' seems to be tax evasion by transnational capital and corporations, among other things. Which is very bad in the US and UK, but it is disastrous for ordinary people in the developing world.
Millions of people go without basic services - running water and other utilities, healthcare, education, policing, because their governments do not have the money to pay for them.
In Zambia, the government corruptly agrees to not collect taxes or receive dividends over at least $2.5 billion in profits made by the now, thanks to immense pressure by the IMF and World Bank in the 1990s, privatised and foreign owned mines.
Most of the wars in Africa occur so that western corporations do not need to pay taxes or share profits over the $1 trillion in raw materials that are being stolen from the continent. If that was the case, you would see the conflicts in the Sudan, DRC, Nigeria, etc. disappear.
You would also see the standard of living of the people skyrocket. So this is the way forward.

This blows the whole right-to-tax argument completely out of the water.

Can't wait to see the list and for the assholes to get imprisoned. But knowing how the world works and how the laws are made by the same elites and the wealthy, I don't see that happening unless people reject the laws and go after these people and make them pay through their noses.....

These companies wouldn't even exist if it weren't for governments allowing their charter, giving them corporate personhoods. that's the #1 reason. the #2 reason in the case of brick & mortar business is *roads and the highway* system.
