I lived in HighLands Ranch back in 1992 and 1993. I went to Cresthill Middle School and Highlands Ranch high School. I liked it there alot. I wish i still lived there. So many things to do. I live in New Jersey now, and believe me i'll take the snobs of HR and you can take the A-Holes of NJ.,NY, and Philly.

worst fucking place on the planet

@Ben1257sb yes, those neighborhoods are really nice, i'll give you that. but those are the exceptions, i would say. the rest of the people out here want to give off that apperance that they're as wealthy as the people in the neighborhoods you mentioned. the majority is, like i said, frugal as all hell, and don't have as much money as they like people to think they do. they might drive a benz or a beamer, but they don't have $10 to put in the gas tank.

Heritage Hills? Heritage Estates? Falcon Hills? your telling me that a 4,500 square foot house for 3 people isn't wealthy? Even if you don't live in a gated community in HR doesn't mean you are poor. I knew three friends that had parents who worked for Lockheed Martin. I also knew people that purchased a BMW or Mercedes simply for the fact that their neighbors bought one. HR is infested with people trying to flaunt their money. Just go to park meadows mall and walk around.

@Ben1257sb wealthy people who are civilized? give me a fucking break. people in highlands ranch aren't wealthy by ANY means. a good majority are fucking broke and in debt, they just like giving that illusion that they have money. if you want to talk about wealth, go look at cherry creek or greenwood village. those are people with serious incomes. highlands ranch people are frugal tightwauds.

Helloooo, traffic is bad everywhere at 5:00. Its called rush hour. Its normal, get used to it.
As for the snobs, yup, they are here, but they are everywhere too. They run stop signs and park in the handicap parking spots at Starbucks, King Soopers and oh yes, Blockbuster too. But they are special people. Special socialist snobs.
Where are the cops when you really need them.

If you cant find anything to do in HR you must be living in your closet.

This man Is 100 percent correct, its a fucking suburban hell
If you cant find anything to do in HR you must be living in your closet. There are 4 rec centers with pools, basketball, hockey, tennis. You can golf. Mountain bike ride the many off road single track trails. Skate board parks, Outdoor in-line free hockey.
It is, like anything else, what you make of it. Don'e be so frickin lazy. Get out and enjoy HR.

Obviously, your opinion of HR depends on your age. If you're a child or an adult, you love it. If you're a teenager, then you think it's "boring" with "nothing to do," "snobs," and "too many cops." Guess what? That's because you're a teenager and you would think that about any place you lived. It's a matter of what your priorities in life are at any given time. Perspectives change.
