The PSP version's major difference is voice acting and better sound effects. However, the downside is that the game stutters a little too much and that the art is blown up, and not in a good way. I personally recommend the PSP version because of the PSP's ability to go into "sleep" since some parts require a lot of time and only allow for a temporary save.
I've heard that in Japan that they got a Special Edition version but they only added save anywhere and swinsuits in this scene

thought about getting it when they first came out... got others instead.. forgot about it til now... any difference between the GBA and PSP versions? such as final fantasy 1 and 2? the psx was just the game remake and the gba had 4 or 5 extra endgame dungeons for 1 and a whole extra section at the end for 2
