I was 16-89 and remember one day in the chow hall. Must have been one of our first days. Gunny Holt was yelling at me from the end of the table because I wasn't standing at attention correctly. I remember his cover rim hitting me on the ear repeatedly. Then, as he asked me to stand at a position of attention my arm made contact with him and it was on. He was never out of character. The most professional man I have ever met to this day.

@bukit15 Sosa indeed. Now I'm flying a wide body across the Atlantic out of Kennedy for a major. Twelve active, 8-reserve. Got my 20 and got out. By the way, our graduating class pic made it on the inside cover of a Newsweek or US News magazine in 1989 or so. I think they picked it because we had the only female in our class in weeks. I think she washed out of primary flight, come to think of it.

THIS IS SO KICK ASS! Gunney Holts voice has got the hairs on the back of my neck standing up! Got to AOCS sick for 12-89, after a week of 'T-Zone' started in 13-89 With SSGT Barber! I remember them filming this while I was there! Holt was awesome... The dude was so locked on it was amazing! He saw every flaw... but was fair. Holt PT'd my ass one day in the Batt1 Rose Garden till I puked up my lunch!!!

Does the Navy and Air Force have an exchange program for their fighter pilots? I am going to college next year and want to be a fighter pilot. I really want to fly the super hornet but the F-22 keeps catching my eye too.

Why did watch the whole video? I'm only 16. How did I get to this video anyway. Everyone here has good grammer/speach and know a lot about these stuff so I'm guessing they're old (no pun intended).
Gunny Holt. I will never forget the Saturday afternoon you caught me leaning over your desk in Batt I and staring at that big goofy picture of you and your wife.
I don't even remember how long you PT'd me for that, but I still laugh about it to this day . . . I think that might have been my best day at AOCS, even though you made me pay hard for it . . .

Class 42-85...you can tell stories about it but unless you've lived it you just don't get it.
"Class 42-85 marching into chow...zero-nine, zero-ten...NO!, NO!, GET BACK!, GET BACK! GET OUT OF MY CHOW HALL! ON YOUR FACE, JUST BEGIN...YOU'RE GONNA DO PUSHUPS 'TILL I GET TIRED..." ahhh, the good ol' days.
