It's a thing of beauty, that's for sure. It was perfect on the last game of the season (I even recorded it for my ring tone). But you're right: I think a Detroit/Chicago finals spells doom for the good guys. Then again, I didnt think they'd get past Vancouver.

Yesterday's crowd at the UC was quite adamant about how Detroit Sucks. The chant has been a tradition long before some of the kiddies on this board were but an itch in their father's pants. The Piven commercial is simply a great marketing spot. It's amazing how people can't understand that. Well. Not that amazing. Unless you're on the team, then no, "we" did not win last nights game. That said, Kane was wrong in what he did and honestly I'm quite disappointed that one of the 'Hawks didnt step up and knock the shit out of someone as a result.

But there is good news in all of this: I'm not from Detroit, I have an education and people like me. Those are 3 points that you cant even begin to counter...

@slade6alpha No, as a Wings fan we hoped to god for the Hawks to make it and face the Canucks. Too bad those damn Hawks didn't come up to play in game 7 until the final five minutes, they could've won which would've lead to us facing the Preds in the semis and a San Jose-Chicago series. Who knows, maybe the Wings could've won the cup if it weren't for fucking Alex Burrows.
