@WeTheStrange being Ignorant of Who and What God is and said will only kill you. People often make a 'god' up in their minds, it is no different then a native carving an image in the jungle...he gives it eyes, ears and yet it is dead. You have an idol built that is no more the One True God, then a wood image. You might add some feathers and paint for effects. Good luck with that, the Real One is About to Return, and He is the One you will answer too.

Get right with Jesus indeed! Simply believing in Jesus does NOT make you a better, more spiritual person. Believers say God sees you as pure and blameless just like his "son" Jesus- if you just say you believe in him. Can anything be more absurd? If a person genuinely believes in eternal hell, they'll say anything to avoid it. It's like holding a gun to someone's head and saying "unless you say you believe in me I'll shoot."

@Kittyvamp1 Those of us who don't believe are of course going to be punished with everlasting fire when Jesus returns in the clouds[ 2nd book of Thessalonians]. It seems that Christ doesn't exactly practice what he preaches, does he? I mean what was he doing preaching love and forgiveness in the Sermon on the Mount?
