I think in technique, attila is the best, because of his range... but dead's vocals were rotten and hollow... perfect for old mayhem. I think maniac is better with his others projects like skitliv, and in the deathcrush EP, but in the middle era mayhem, he fucked up his voice... just listen to his performance in the wacken open air 2004... its just painful. that's my opinion, btw.

Dead is just typical. Everyone finds him so cool because he killed himself and that fact makes him extra grim or something. It's just stupid. It's about the feeling you can produce. Mayhem is dark music, and the vocals of Atilla represent this darkness so great that dead is a childish idiot if you compare the two.

i like attilas vocals best but maniacs stage presence is way better dead was awesome live to bad he wasn't on any of there albums except the live one blasphemer is a way better guitarist then euro i love old mayhem cause they set the standard for norway black metal but new mayhem brought it to a whole nother level i miss blasphemer his new band sucks ass maniac is doin well with skitliv these are just my opinions so dont go ape shit

maniac just doesnt sound good, his got a sound to his growls that sound more ike choking, attila has that evil grunt vocal sound. as for dead, he's good but we never got a good recording of his vox.
