@SaBrack10 Well it didn't fall apart at all, and in fact I believe I traded it with someone for another prop. I made a 2nd one later on, out of foam, which looks great on the outside, but the inner mech is falling apart. So gutting my 2nd RHoD this coming year and improving it with better guts.

Did your hand make it through an event before falling apart and have you started the 2012 hand yet? Is there another hellboy coming out then?

@Hellboy4621 I'll be rebuilding the inner mechanics of the hand next year at some point. I've addressed this in a couple other videos, but I'm remaking the suit. If you like, you can subscribe to my channel. That way you'll be notified when the vid is posted. :)

Thanks for the quick comment. I am working on one for this year using some of your instructions and research all over the net. Yours still looks the bes when holding that bottle. My first attempt is with corrogated tubing but then I noticed hellboys fingers are more flat or square looking like yours. Why is the foam one falling apart? can't wait till your next one. For your face makeup did you use latex body paint on top of appliance and skin or something else. Thanks again.

@SaBrack10 Thanks for the kind words, dude. I've got a couple other vids on my channel that go into my Hellboy items in a lil more detail, but I'll be rebuilding my suit this coming year, so you can expect a few more videos documenting the construction and stuff. The foam RHoD looks great, and is pretty durable, but the joins from the fingers to the hands were weak, and the fingers were placed incorrectly, so i'm gonna gut and rebuild it with the pieces I have.

@callmemilo I was just reveiwing your channel and saw the foam one. Nice. I see how the fingers are a little close together but it looks almost exactly like the 400 prop replica. What kind of foam do you use for these projects and are they easy to paint?

@SaBrack10 It's standard upholstery foam, I bought it in 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch thicknesses, but mainly used 1/4 inch for the most part. The whole thing is hand painted in liquid latex. The foam gives the texture of rock when painted, and that works great especially once all the grooves are cut out of it and weathering added.
