@ShadowLady247 But... saying "kawaii" /is/ being a weeaboo... there's no aesthetic reason to randomly spurting out the only word you know in another language. PS if you can't tell, this video is satire. I'm making fun of weeaboos and people with weeaboo-esque behavior because frankly, it's annoying.

On that note, being an Ouiaboo is more fun anyway. "Arrêtez, c'est mauvais!"

I'm stupid, i don't understan most of the ''japanese'' words seh says =(
-
@JadedStar01 No, if you're actually Japanese and you use a Japanese word, it's normal. It's only when you use it pointlessly that it's weeaboo-ish. Sorry to get ranty, it wasn't directed at you, more for weeaboos who would happen to read the comment x'D
-
@BekkahDamene I never justified the use of it in a english conversation. I just said that generalizing and saying that using it whatsoever is weeaboo.
-
@JadedStar01 If you're speaking in English and you saying something is "cute", that's fine. If you're speaking fluent Japanese with another Japanese person and you say something is "kawaii", that's also fine. But if you're speaking in English to another English-speaker and you randomly refer to something as "kawaii", there's no point. It's stupid. It's not a phrase like "dejà vu". There's a word for it in English, so use it.
-
@BekkahDamene Saying 'kawaii' is weeaboo? We can use the word 'cute' in every day conversation; if you're having a Japanese conversation, why can we not use it if it is fitting of the situation?
