Actually, Dragon Rising tried to be what Operation Flashpoint Cold war Crisis was in 2001 with better graphics and less controls to better suit the consoles.

Where as the Bohemia Interactive crew (Arma, Arma2).. the guys who actually made Flashpoint are the ones still making tactical, realistic shooters.

Dragon Rising was such a dissapointment, they promised so much and released a buggy piece of shit.

It looks nice, but god the gameplay is chunky.

they only give u part of the map in ofp i was let down by the size becuz i couldnt use all of it, unless i was in island tour witch had no npc's unless they were friendly, so it was realy sorta half assed, the other dlc's that came out sorta gave u a taste of other parts of the map that seemed interesting but they werent anything special,

The map is a joke compared to Arma 2's Chernarus. now Chernarus is a extreamly highly detailed map and its bigger than the OFP2 map.

proper good game. me and a mate have snipered other players at around 800-900metres away thats nearly a mile!

when u sniper you use the mil dots on your scope.

i sold both my COD games for this and it was worth it!
