I lived in an apartment for 2 years with my kelpie, they are fine as long as they get enough exercise. I actually saved my dog's life, I took her swimming at the park and was throwing a stick to her, she must've inhaled some water and went under... I think that was the fastest I've ever moved in my life! She gave me a good scare that day! Now we don't throw sticks in the water anymore, she just swims. Kelpies are great dogs, couldn't ask for a better friend.
