@bymyself0 Too put some things into perspective the only reason trips held the title 13 times is becuase there was no one else to put the strap on towards the end.
You had this period after Rock/Austin left where Trips was the only guy who could help groom the up and comings ie Cena, Batista,Orton.
Quality over quantity. Look back at the hype between the rock and angel no way out 2000. Not taking anything away from Paul but his reigns as champ are far from memorable.

@rsunny4 triple h was getting mixed reactions when he was doing the promo alone. he had just turned heel on hbk but the crowd was still cheering him. rock comes out and triple h starts getting asshole chants. i think thats why they sent the rock to interrupt tripleh, so he could get more heat.
triple h is a great heel but rock is a much bigger face, any heel would get booed heavily going against the rock.
