Klimt's women look provocative and sensual and mysterious without ever for a moment seeming like sex objects. Best painter of women since Botticelli in my opinion; even Gwen John can't rival him. This is because he viewed them with desire rather than lust (the difference is important).
In the context of the music used in this video, does anybody know whether Klimt painted Alma Mahler? Her turn-of-the-century beauty strikes me as ideally suited to his art.

Fashinating images, superb music: a perfect match. I enjoyed both very much, so much that I put your video in my blog too.

Wonderful! for both the choice of the images and the adagietto of the Mahler 5th symphony. Have also a look on the pictural works of the Belgian painter F. Knopff, I'm shure you will love it
