The game with the mech controls was Steel Battalion and the pilot inside the mech is the Mechwarrior, not the mech itself.
Steel Battalion was a great game and the controls were awesome. Although, the controller was a little fragile and could not take a lot of abuse.

Thats not retro gaming on the Xbox. ;) Thats how cool kids play SF, or any other Beat'em Up.
The glove thing is rubish imo.
