'Possession' Alternate Ending

The full ending on the DVD is 30 minutes long, however this last 10 minutes is really what makes the difference in the movie. I love this ending because it is way more unexpected and well, enjoyable.. I love Lee Pace.

@Ashfall32 I don't think it is possible to watch it fully with the alt ending attached to the film, unless a fan specifically attached it that way. This is just a special feature on the DVD.

U know, I didn't like either ending. I like it that Jess chooses to stay with Roman in the original version, but the way they show it still seems anti-climatic. I mean think of the preparation he went through to get here, I'd call the movie "Obsession" cause neither possession nor addiction seem suiting. If I had my way, I'd have her kill Roman out of fear, but he really WAS Ryan. And then Ryan's body wakes up and we as viewers realise that Roman's soul possesses him.Roman lives + it's his child

@TheGuardianizz As much as I like this alternate ending, I do agree with what you said. I wish they would've made another alternate ending the way you said, because that would be even more unexpected.

WOW!! this changes the hole movie!!! completely!!! I wish they had kept this ending!! this way Lee's character is not so bad after all and she realizes he really loves her and stuff... the hole story is weird anyways but is not the same thriller with the bloody ending and the bad guy dead. this is very nice! Thanks a lot!

This ending was MUCH better than the original, I have no idea what made them choose such an awful ending for that movie, it was weird and inconclusive, while this one, though strange as well, it's more pleasing.

or they could have really made roman a changed man,jess attacking him out of fear but only injuring him and not killing since even she realizes how much effort he put into becoming a different person,they could have shown her gvng roman another chance by letting him stay with them at their house so he could also be closer to his child and either telling ryan everything tht happened or by telling ryan the baby`s their(ryan-jess) but roman could stay since he took care of her in ryan`s absence

ryan who actually hd all those qualities..how ws jess supposed to believe him whn she had no idea whether he was trying to become a better man/just putting up a facade to avoid gtng caught because their relationship lacked the major factor tht ryan-jess had..TRUST..didnt mind roman dying bt i wld have liked 2 c casey alive,ryan waking up & deciding to raise roman`s child with jess..they could hve even named the child roman..i liked tht at the end jess still carries a hope of ryan cmng bk

the only reason jess even decided to give roman a chance was because she thought he was ryan,jess would have never been able to live with roman knowing how he lied/manipulated her..she might have thought about forgiving him if he was jst troubled but roman was a lunatic and jess would hve been crazy scared for her and her child`s safety every time she had a fight/argument with roman cause of his psychotic temper..his sweet,considerate side wasn`t actually true given tht he ws pretending to be

thanks so much for posting this i watched the movie 2 times one on dvd with no extras grrrrr and last night on tv and i was blown away when i read on the reviews that there was another ending much better and since i dont own the dvd this was a nice find on youtube...the movie was good but as some other people said it was predictable right from the start and kinda short with no many twists and turns. this one changes everything though what the hell were they thinking???? anyhow
