Jack, a senior at Norman North and the top-ranked high school pole vaulter in the nation, set a Texas Relays high school record of 18'1⁄4", shattering the 11-year-old mark by 101⁄4". His vault was 23⁄4" shy of tying the national high school record. The two-time state champion will attend Oral Roberts on scholarship.
This is actually his 17' 10 3/4" vault. His 18' 1/4" is on youtube, but this one isn't it.
