House Fire from attic heater part 2 of 3

I have watched a few videos, what takes some FD forever to start fighting the fires??

Why are they evacuating? Self vented.....solid construction......safe fire fight! The IC needs to refocus and put the &%&% fire out!

why would you laugh!!! that is so stupid! my house burnt down and as soon as they turned up they ahd the hoses out unroled blowing out holes in the house to put it out! why take them so long! and btw its like torture when your house in fire!

well its not a big city. so i wouldnt compare them to that. but you dont know whats going on inside. so instead of putting negative things on here put good things.

What a disgrace to the Fire Service. 3 big city firemen would have that out in 5 minutes.

they were ordered to bail mainly because the house doesnt look structurally in good shape the right side looks real bad

Not sure why they bailed (or were ordered) out so fast. Do you see how clear the second floor is? Which brings up the next point; why vent all the windows on the second floor? They're just feeding the fire. If you want to make a quick hit (VERY quick) with the aerial after making sure everyone is out, then fine. But then get people back in there to put the thing out!

Good points guys. Absolutely stupid to break out all the second floor windows. It had self-vented. Send a couple of attack lines to the second floor, access the attic, and hit it hard. Wanna do a quick knockdown with the aerial and then re-establish the offensive attack? Fine--do it. But then get crews back in.

I agree not sure why they took so long to flow water and kept guys venting when it needed the master stream flowing
