My very good friend Avery was found dead this morning (7/5/07) I loved him very much! I miss you babe!

Thank you for this memorial. We were cousins by marriage but close like blood. I'm in Arizona and could make the funeral.Since that morning I've been stressed,depressed, and sleepless. I've finally cried and feel so much better. Thank you a million times!!!!

I am truly touched by this video...Everytime i watch it, it brings me to tears, but the tears are ones of joy. It helps me remember all the good times that I had with Avery. I believe he was brought into my life for a reason. He taught me to just enjoy life today and live my life to the fullest! I love Avery with all of my heart and I'll never forget him. Thank you soooo very much for making this video!

I met Avery once at a local spot in Gainesville. I was sitting outside on the patio area and he sat down next to me and we started talking about life stuff. I mainly listened to him because I could tell he was going through some stuff and he told me how bad he wanted to play football. A couple months later I thought about him and wandered how he was doing so I searched his name online. When I saw what had happened it brought me to tears.I'm honored to have had that moment with him. R.I.P.Avery

I just came across a link to this video on the gatorsports board..What I remember most about Avery is the Florida-FSU game where he introduced himself as a unique talent who could energized the crowd with his head turning playmaking ability on defense. It's sad that his story could not have a happier ending. But, thanks to this video, I am glad to know he was not what the media portrayed him to be, but rather a great individual very loved by his friends. Very nice tribute! Rest in peace Avery!
