GTA IV runnng on MacBook 13" alu 2.4ghz 4gb of ram

Heya,
i took the risk of buying the game (second hand 20€) and not being able to play it but, hell no!!! YOU CAN!

MacBook running on Xp SP3 can run GTA IV quit well, of course you won't have the crazy HD graphics, and the shadows are a bit grainy but you get all the fun and the graphics aren't to bad. Moreover, you have only very littel lag, it depens on the weather conditions rain slow downs the game :p hehe

you should download the "bootcamp" program/patch on the the offical mac site (it's an exe. file), it greatly improves performance of your mac! + keyboard support + graphical support ...

while in game, or at the start of the game, ALT+TAB go in your task manager of xp, then kill all unnecessary processes (like itunes helper, ... and other stuff that get on on startup), put GTA on maximum priority, get back in the game and play

not more than when i'm playing Modern warfare on my OSX, so it does get hot but I guess it's normal

I Owen the current MacBook Pro, which is insanely faster.... The Nvidia Geforce 320M is a beast, in Cinebench only 2 frames/s slower than the 330M
