  • Tom, I just found you too, and I must say that although I agree with everything you are saying, you lose me with the way you treat the poor buyers. No wonder the autograph and sports collectibles market has a tough time cracking mainstream America. I am a television product considering a concept on the industry but with clowns like you, and the other fools I run into at shows, I can't imagine working with any of you. Then again, crazy people do sell sponsorship...

  • @13Youtoo I call them like I see them. I tried for years to educate buyers and all I got was defensive feedback. The majority of buyers of autographs aren't real collectors, they simply want a cheap autograph. They don't do any research and then when they are shown that the Michael Jordan autographed jersey they paid $150.00 for is a forgery, they become defensive. I'll accept you calling me a clown as a compliment.

Also, I make zero cents from my videos.

  • I like the other format where you hold up the pictures and comment on them! Please go back to the old format! I just can't get enough of your videos! I just discovered you on Saturday.

  • @hcgrace1966 I appreciate that, but this format will save me a ton on ink and paper. I appreciate your comment.

  • Tommy, any chance of a new Coachs commode video? They have been selling some beauts lately.

  • @dvitoc I'm sure we can fit in a Coach's Commode video soon.

  • contd. In 2009 At Auction began acquiring inventory from Bill Rodman owner of B&J memorabilia. B&J was one of the companies The Scoreboard would go to liquidate blocks of inventory for quick cash. Additionally B&J held many private signings at organized events, similar to what is done today by promoters in the industry.

  • contd. At times blocks of the inventory was sold off or traded to satisfy debts. The Scoreboard Inc filed for bankruptcy in 1998 and their inventory sat, untouched, in a warehouse for several years, much of it still remains. In 2008, At Auction connected with a resource that was awarded a sizeable amount of this inventory as part of a debt settlement. We now have an agreement in which we are buying, and manufacturing and distributing the inventory.

  • Their mission was simple: supply dealers with large quantities of the best players, acquiring the product directly from the source. Million dollar contracts were signed by the likes of Mantle, Williams and DiMaggio to produce thousands of autographed pieces. During its first year as a public company, Scoreboard’s accumulated inventory was valued at $1.5 million. As their empire grew, they acquired and/or produced substantial amounts of inventory.

  • contd. The best part....Their supplier is suspect.... more of their reply. A large percentage of our inventory originated and/or was produced by/or for The Scoreboard Inc., now out of business, but once the largest distributor of sports memorabilia in the United States.

  • CONTD. Please provide an explanation for the referenced articles, and AAFES stance on this business partnership. I respectfully request a full refund for these items.

Please reply with instructions for returning these items. I appreciate your concern. We stand behind our product with a 100% Money Back Guarantee. The pieces that we have up for sale have been sent to many different authenticators and have been verified as authentic time and time again.

  • Contd. Again, I thought the military exchange is selling this stuff, and there is no way they would allow forgeries through their website. NO WAAAAY! I did not want to believe it, but I am now convinced otherwise.

I wrote Exchange Auctions.....my email to Exchange Auctions ..Question: Does AAFES feel it is safe to be associated with a possible forgery ring?

I have spent a great deal of money on these items, and I plan to challenge payment for these items.

  • I stumbled across the suspect items from Morales and TTA while shopping on the Military Exchange " AAFES " website. They have a deal with AT AUCTION. An auction of items exclusively for military servicemembers and veterans.

I immediately noticed the Mantle, Dimaggio, Williams, and Ali signed items, and they looked like a great deal! The adrenaline kicked in, and within weeks, I dropped over 3000 dollars of my hard earned cash on sigs referenced above.

They have to be LEGIT! 2B CONTD.

  • Just found you Tom and I can see that I have plenty of catching up to do. I discovered you while researching Coach's Corner and am very glad I found you. Thank's for the future money saved...
