Talent oozes from Roy. Effortlessly. He doesn't need to contort...or grimace. Sometimes...because he doesn't make all the face contortions.....folks may feel "oh...he has no feel". Huh??? Hahahahaha....man....there is SO much emotion in this playing.....SO much feel....he sounds like a hurricane!!! You can hear HIM...in his playing....his SOUL man. Awesome...one of a kind...not to be mistaken for another. That's the part that's not so easy. Bein SO unique in this big world! Great post! Thnx ~K

Saw Roy at a Blues fest for the disk Hot Wires. I had never seen him but after 3 hours of shuffle I was ready to leave. Roy and the rhythm section came on stage with shaved heads. Peter Gunn was the firsts song. The fans of shuffle were killed. Roy changed the day. A new beauty is what I saw, the sky ripped open. Buckwheat Zydeco closed the day after Roy. Great ending to a day filled with shuffle.

Your comment is crap,they are are different ,Roy was a great player bit honestly i'd rather listen to Clapton anyday,he has the power plus melody, Roy is just fast harmonics & he cant sing .Iv'e seen both live.
