"Singing the Blues" was written by Melvin Endsley and published in 1956. Guy Mitchell recorded it the same year and his version spent 9 weeks at #1 on the BB charts from 12/56 - 2/57. Marty Robbins also released his record about the same time and his is my favorite version. It's been covered by other artists including Paul McCartney and Dave Edmonds. It's a one verse - one chorus lyric and I so decided to repeat the verse as well as the chorus. I strapped on the harmonica to provide a lead in the break. Performed live in one take. Enjoy. - FK http://www.youtube.com/fretkillr

I have not any other words but this: love is overflowing from your work of playing and singing. Thank you and thank you again. keep on and may the Lord bless you with your good work. z.ziv
We've been begging him for two years to put something out but he won't. I've even suggested that if he doesn't want/need the money then he can name his favorite charity. No response excepting for the form letter that everyone gets when they write him. Oh well....
