Not to mention, the detention started the moment I entered the checkpoint spndr001. Didn't you know that every checkpoint stop represents a 4th amendment seizure:
"It is agreed that checkpoint stops are 'seizures' within the meaning of the Fourth Amendment." - U.S. v Martinez-Fuerte
"The Fourth Amendment applies to all seizures of the person, including seizures that involve only a brief detention short of traditional arrest." - U.S. v. Brignoni-Ponce

Thanks for making it clear that you support illegal operations by government agents that directly impact the traveling public & consider those who peacefully and lawfully exercise their rights to be Nazi pricks Falcontalons999.
You've made my point far better than I ever could.

@CheckpointUSA Haha, you are always on the money with your retorts. I respect what you do and cannot understand why people argue with you about these types of situations. So many Americans have terrible cases of Stockholm syndrome now-a-days. They would literally kiss the ass of the man who just tasered them because they are happy to be put into place.

@CheckpointUSA Of course, it's better to keep someone in your pocket than to have to constantly kill their replacements.

Don't be ridiculous Falcontalons999. These agents choose to stand in the middle of a public highway exposing their faces & names to tens of thousands on a daily basis. Further, the Border Patrol and DHS already admit that the cartels have each & everyone of their checkpoints under surveillance 24-7 & know within minutes when the status of a checkpoint has changed.
Further, drug cartels rarely bump off federal agents, it's bad for business. They prefer to buy them off instead.

@CheckpointUSA no ur just board as fuck n get off on just being a dick to people doing there damn jobs.... ur not making a point ur not proving anything ur not changing anything

@Falcontalons999 Wait, so a person who exercises their Constitutional rights and also doesn't agree with all the internal checkpoints that are going up throughout our country is now considered to be a non-patriot? What am I missing here? How is it that we can be so brainwashed that we have completely eroded and reversed the definition of a patriot and proud American? So now patriot means compliance and cooperation right?

If these Border Patrol agents were doing their job, they'd be down on the border patrolling it instead of harassing domestic traffic inside the country absent suspicion mrtolduso.
Why would I travel to every state & do this anyway? Are Border Patrol agents setting up federal checkpoints in every state now? What makes you think you could do a damn thing about it if I chose to exercise my rights at a Border Patrol checkpoint in Northern New York anyway?

I have a better idea punk. Why don't you come on down to my state & try whatever you think you could get away with in NY down here instead mrtolduso. After all, I'm sure a 24 year old punk like yourself knows more than seasoned Border Patrol agents working for the Department of Homeland Security.
