The parade began at 9 a.m. Sept. 11 to honor Oregon's 2,700 member 41st Brigade Combat Team who deployed in April 2009 to Iraq.
Veterans from WWII and the 41st Brigade marched the route.
The parade began at Tigard City Hall and ended at Cook Park in Tigard
According to the Tualatin Tigard Times, the 41st Brigade Combat Team was involved in the largest Oregon Army National Guard troop deployment since WWII. The Brigade participated in Operation: Iraqi Freedom in Iraq from April 2009 until April 2010.
