  • I think that should be reinforced with FRP are "tne bottom of hull under the mast step" and "the underside of deck to put aka(crossbeam) ".And the bowside of aka(crossbeam) has hole to hold a mast.

  • Awesome!! Is this a conversion from the 17LT or does it all come as one kit?

  • Thanks all! and This SailRig is another kit by CLC.The kayak is required for remodeling the mast hole and mounting some bracket.

  • I'm at the deck stage of my 17lt build and was wondering if i should do something now that would help in setting up a sail rig or doesn't it matter ie stronger bulkhead or a mast step on the bottom of hull or is it stepped on the deck etc

  • hey thats a nice clip. Ive got a chesapeake lightcraft west river 180 thats going to have its first sail this weekend. Its a variation on the MKII sailrig in that i made it a single outrigger. Sail is a Balogh 32 sq.ft. But hey, i love the clip - lets see more!!!
