All I can say is "THANK YOU, THANK YOU"!!! I have tried to figure this out many times with no luck. This is such a cool song to play. Cudo's to you for figuring this out. Pat Simmons is one of the best guitarists I've ever seen and heard. You da MAN magikbee.

Ok, that looked simple enough. What else have you got? A cutaway Martin and caffeine-laden fingers for every subscriber? Seriously though, very, very nice. This is going on favourites. Good stuff my man

@magikbee Excellent vid, but hard to decide my favorite Doobie Brothers song since there are so many to choose from. Anyway, if you have tab or a slowed down tutorial version, that would be really great. Thanks again!

@vtcomics It's my favorite song of all time!!

absolutely I'd love a slowed down version! This is their best song in my opinion. Just an amazing tune

@magikbee I'd definitely be interested in a slowed-down version and/or tab. I think you absolutely nailed it and indeed, the WOlftrap video is probably the best visual you can get to compare with. I've used double drop D and open G tunings before, but never this (C5). How did you ever even figure out initially what the tuning was? In any case, very impressive work and thank for posting this. BTW, got to see the DB perform live (including this number) just a couple of weeks ago!
A correction to all who have asked.....this is played in open C5 tuning (not Open C)
Tuning is CGCGCC
If there is interest in a tutorial or a slowed down version of this song I will post one...
Thanks for listening!
