An update to say that Badger made a full recovery and still loves xc, he is now jumping Advanced courses and is aiming for another 3 Star event in the summer 2011.

Why is it that when you really want to know if the horse & rider is ok the video always cuts off at the fall!!! People need to keep recording to put our minds at rest. I do hope they were ok, the bang was terrible :)

i cut the video because the horse was down for about 10 minutes they put screens up and we thought they were putting it down. we walked away but just as we got a few steps away we heard a cheer and the horse was up and walked into the trailer sound, it was just winded. The rider suffered a broken collar bone. it says in the description that they both walked away

@ponyqueen13 shes my instructer to i saw her after the accident and badger was fine when i saw him but vj was still in pain that was ages ago when i was then about 6monthes ago (:

@celdunn @deanimai yeh she said that she went last sunday i think and i think she came first im not sure, and i did send it to her bu i dont think she wants to get reminded of it tbh, a few people from the yard have seen it but we dont tend to talk about this anymore, it really upset vj because if she did well here then she was going to get through to badminton but theres always this year now :)

thats my instructor (no joke) badge was perfectly fine after a while, the saddle, not so much, really badly bent!! hehe i tried to sit on it ;) anyway vj broe her collar bone but they were both incredibly lucky!! bad did just about escape being put down tho :( but yeh their both fine, n badge is back to his cheeky self :)
