The Kenny Bass re-union Band appearing at Frank Yankovic's 70th birthday party, July 28, 1985 at the St. Clair Ave. Slovenian Home, Cleveland, OH.
Dick Sodja - accordion, Dick Flaishman - sax and clarinet, Jack "Porky" Ponikvar - Drums, Ron Sluga, banjo and Joey Miskulin - accordion.
The three tunes featured on this video are, "I Saw E'Sau", "Kiss Me Darling", and "Church's Chant" Polkas.
How great to see and hear this band. Particularly good to see again my accordion teacher from the late 50s and early 60s, Dick Sodja! I still play my accordion but I sure wish I had been a better student and could play even a fraction as well as Dick.

Memories from the 60's when Kenny Bass and most of these guys played at our fire hall numerous times.
