  • Your research has helped a lot I could have made a big mistake and purchased a TMG because looking at it and reading the things it can do it would seem to be a good detector but seeing you test one showed it is not. In the end I purchased a Escort 9500ix with the GPS and I have tested this one against my Beltronic STi and I found that Escort was actually picking up radar signal befor the STi did. But only just before. And with the GPS it makes it a better detector.

  • @Soarer111 The features of the TMG looked promising (on paper) but in reality I'd never have one in my own car. The first 2 models they sent me falsed on Ka-band every 3-5 minutes.

  • I actually took a drive for about half an hour, filming the entire time to show just how bad the Ka-band falsing was, but in the end, I couldn't be bothered editing the 30 minute video.

    Its disappointing that radars (Morley) started pushing (selling) them before actually testing...More interested in $ than customers **sigh**

  • Thanks for that it looks like the TMG isn't too flash I was considering purchasing one but don't think I will now.

  • @Soarer111 I am currently testing the THIRD version the manufacturer sent me and the laser detection is still useless. I have gone past 3 different Poliscans now, and the TMG did not alert either time.

  • ill give you a thousand indonesian rupiahs if you run into the bastard!.

  • @XionUnjust yes at this stage only the LI and AL can

  • @delonixradar That sucks. There's on youtube vid that shows an LI jamming some type of laser speed camera. I'll see if I can find it;

  • I have my V1 located behind a tint strip (non-metallic) high on the windshield beside the rearview mirror. It has still picked up laser scatter when cars driving ahead of me get hit by laser (handheld laser guns, there are no laser cameras where I drive).

    I have a Blinder Laser Jammer system installed, so I don't really rely on the V1, but the performance is pretty impressive given the fact it's behind the tint strip and located high up.

  • @XionUnjust Most jammers CANNOT jam this particular laser camera. It's a difficult bugger...
