Olimar with Six Red Pikmin

This time it's the red pikmin. I generally like them and prefer them and the yellow for all purpose use.

Yeah, I did these videos mostly out of boredom. You can do selective picking, but I wouldn't recommend it during a match.

obviosly they say it depends on what surface your on that makes that type of pikmin never happened to me though i just get normal types like red yellow and blue-rarely whites or purple.

That is 100% false. I did some testing on it (it's posted in TrueRedemption's Olimar guide on Smashboards under my name "keeper").

23.3% for reds, blues, and yellows

15% for whites and purples

I tested it on every "neutral" stage. Smashville, Final Destination, Yoshi's Island, Battlefield, and Lylat Cruise.

I haven't tested those. It takes about 15 minutes per stage, a lot of tally marks, and such. I haven't tested the other stages.
