This is from a performance at Kalakshetra Academy, Chennai, India. The dance is done in the Bharatanatyam style which originated here in the south of India.
'Kitathakatharikitathom' is the second theermanam adavu (airplane dive with alapadmam). The first being 'thath, dheen, gin-na-thom' which has different hand movements (tripataka). The footwork is the same though, 'thei, thei, dith-thith thei'.
impeccable. inspiring.
