  • Cyberpunk means a dystopian portrayal of advanced capitalist society.

    Technology itself is nor good nor bad, it is simply a tool. The tool can be used by capitalism to suppress people or by communism/technocracy to help people. Its your choice, dictatorship of the corporations (corporatocracy) or dictatorship of the technical experts(Einstein) technocracy. I choose Einstein...

  • @80sOGRE Cyberpunk was more or less 80's to early 90's, but there was plenty of dystopian scifi back in the 70's.
