Filmed at the Embassy Suites hotel in Portland, Maine, in my suite. The flush on this was pretty disappointing, and it took 2 flushes for a small strip of TP to get flushed down. Comfy hotel, nonetheless. I personally dedicate this vid to CRANEPlumbing, as that's his favorite toilet brand and this is the first Crane I've filmed.

  • thats a cheapie, junk. thanks for the dedication. did you know i screwed up my username? it wasnt supposed to be CRANEPlumbing it was supposed to be CRANEPLUMBING

  • Really? That's an interesting bit of trivia about yourself. Also, you're welcome :).

  • The handle looks like for a newer Eljer Patriot. Judging by the flushing performance, I bet that was a 3.5 gallon Crane bowl with an Eljer Patriot 1.5 gallon tank slapped on.

  • I remember looking inside the tank, and it did have an Eljer tank on it. The hotel was undergoing some renovations around the time I was staying there (they were almost done with the renovations, though), so I think the hotel's owners decided to get 1.6 gpf tanks to conserve water but they wanted to be within their budget so the bowls stayed.

  • @CRANEPlumbing Yup, this is quite junk but it has a unique flush. This model was made in 1952 and it discontinued in 1988! And this toilet model is a Drexel, not a Crane Radcliffe if you were curious.

  • is in Portland, oregon

  • Just needs an adjustment of the water level or flapper replaced.

  • Is this a Drexel by chance?

  • That toilet looks like cheap toilet to me.

  • Yes, flushing with the handle held down definately makes things better in the short run in this case.
