29th October 2011, Frog Morris hosted a Halloween show in the Montague Arms, New Cross Gate in London. Using his occult powers, he resurrected the late poet and writer Edgar Allan Poe from his 162 years interred in Baltimore, and used one Paul Wady to carry his spirit into the venue and onto the stage.
Poe started the night off with a reading of his story, The Tell-Tale Heart, and initiated the second half of the evening with a reading of his poem, Annabel Lee.
As far as we know, he did not borrow money nor accost anyone in the inn, although he constantly helped himself from a bottle.
The performance was brilliantly filmed by Jenny Berman.
Poe is back at the Montague Arms, on the 26th November. Brief reappearance with a poem, to musical-saw accompaniment. Then, he may return again, at greater length of manifestation...

Such was my concentration on the text, that I lost the accent at some points, only to be regain it when I took a swig of the bottle. That you see, was a Poe-gesture.
Inexcusable. :)
