The Ricoh GRD 3 AF Tracking feature which was included in Firmware 2.30 is easily distracted. I've used inanimate objects and faces. It's early days yet (hours actually). My tests so far have only been with shallow depth of field. If Ricoh is smart enough to combine image mapping with depth sensing this won't be a problem. If not, it could track off someone's face and onto the background and stay locked there until you refocussed. Either way, you should know it's doing it, no no big deal.
