  • richter is quoted on wikipedia commenting on her: "...but Schubert's B flat major Sonata, while arresting as an interpretation, was the exact opposite of what it should have been:::"

  • What you missed in Richter's quote is that he considered this performance "arresting as an interpretation". For you it's "like she is dragging".

  • i dont like that she is dragging. alot of russians did that to schubert in her era.

  • Could you name a few among "alot of russians" who "did it to schubert"?

  • her slow tempo in the dolce moments makes me feel crying...

  • And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest

  • I like the sly bits of rubato, but I think at times it is overwrought and effuse

  • A human is not a function of justification of something. She has her own causal powers, while the nations and humanity itself is rather a fiction.

  • Molto molto molto espressivo!!!

  • Now, that's subjectivism and individualism gone rabid.
