First time taking the GoPro mountain biking. Mostly freeride with a little bit of downhill towards the end.

I tested a few mounting points and positions for the camera; the helmet cam seemed to be the only stable mount. Any sort of mount on the bicycle would vibrate too much and result in poor image quality. The helmet cam doesn't capture some of the features of the trails accurately and very much downsizes any air time. I think a chest mount may be the best type of mount to use mountain biking, or in any situation with lots of vibration for that matter.

Location: Pacifica, CA
Camera: GoPro Hero HD 1 (filming: 720p @ 60fps)
