It came down to a shootout Tuesday evening at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre, as the Down East Auto and Marine Maniacs took the first game of the Don Johnson Cup against the Kensington Vipers with a score of 3-2. Kayleb Lazaric of the Maniacs tied the game up in the third period, while Jordan McInnis was the shootout winner. Wednesday's action begins at noon with the Tri-County River Cats of New Brunswick facing off against the Bay Ducks of Nova Scotia. At 3:30pm the Mask Securitiy Jr Celtics of Newfoundland take on the Kensington Vipers, while the Maniacs face off against the River Cats at 7:30pm.
