Probe against Ergenekon -left-leaning ultra-nationalist gand depenening....Among the dozens of suspects charged in connection with alleged extremist network in Turkiye, a former university president, Kemal Alemdaroglu, was ordered not to leave the country. Also it is claimed that a map of the supreme court of appeal was found on the computer of a suspect -ADNAN AKFIRAT -who was detained last night.

IP chairman, Dogu Perincek, Ferit ilsever, chief editor at television channel Ulusal and editor in chief of the magazine Aydinlik Adnan Akfirat were arrested in Istanbul for allegedly "being members or contacts of a terrorist organization.

Dogu Perincek was arrested in Istanbul for allegedly "being a senior official of a terrorist organization and obtaining and possessing classified documents."

The court also ordered a former university president, Kemal Alemdaroglu like the prominent journalist, Ilhan Selcuk of the Cumhuriyet newspaper not to leave the country. Alemdaroglu was released for his medical condition.

Alemderaoglu during an announcement before the courthouse thanked the security forces for being nice towards him.

According to the claims, the suspect Adnan Akfirat is accused of plotting a series of bomb attacks and assassinations since a map of the supreme court of appeal's map was found.
